Chartered Physiotherapist | BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
Jaime is a Chartered Physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Nottingham with First-Class Honours in Physiotherapy. She has developed broad clinical experience across musculoskeletal outpatients, elite sport, trauma and orthopaedics, paediatrics and community rehabilitation, completing more than 1,000 hours of clinical placements during her degree.
Jaime has a particular interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, with a strong focus on injury rehabilitation, exercise prescription, injury prevention and helping patients return confidently to the activities and sports they enjoy.
Her sporting experience includes working with Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, supporting elite and academy-level athletes with injury management, rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, sports massage and taping. She has also worked with Derby County Football Club’s academy, gaining experience in gym-based and field rehabilitation, and provided sports massage to athletes at an international padel event in Monaco.
Alongside her physiotherapy training, Jaime holds a Level 4 qualification in Sports Massage and qualifications in Sports Taping and KT Taping. She is also continuing her training in gym instruction, personal training and nutrition, complementing her rehabilitation knowledge with a strong understanding of strength, conditioning and physical performance.
During her musculoskeletal outpatient placement, Jaime managed her own caseload, assessing a wide range of MSK conditions and developing individualised rehabilitation programmes focusing on strength, mobility, function and long-term injury prevention. Her approach places an emphasis on patient education and giving people the confidence and tools to manage their recovery effectively.
Outside of the clinic, Jaime has a strong sporting background herself. She has competed in hockey, netball, karate, padel and football, has represented the University of Nottingham in hockey and previously became a National Kumite Karate Champion. Having experienced competitive sport first-hand gives her a valuable understanding of the physical demands of training, rehabilitation and returning to performance.
Jaime enjoys working with people of all activity levels — from those wanting to move more comfortably in everyday life through to recreational and competitive athletes — using an evidence-based, patient-centred approach to help them recover, build resilience and achieve their individual goals.
